Our Staff

Maureen - Receptionist:

Maureen began working at OLVH in June of 2013.  She has over 25 years of veterinary experience working not only as a receptionist, but has also been an office manager and veterinary technician.  She lives at home with her husband and her many dogs. Maureen has been breeding and showing Brussels Griffons for over 10 years.  Her other hobbies include traveling and sailing with her husband.

Heidi - Receptionist:

Heidi joined our team in August of 2016. She has been in veterinary medicine working as a receptionist and veterinary assistant for 13 years. She grew up in Eastern Missouri and has lived all over the United States. Michael, her husband, is in the U.S. Navy and they have three dogs: Chloe, Yogi, and Benelli (all are labs). She is currently pursuing her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management to be applied to her ultimate goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Heidi's interests include shopping, traveling, and hanging out with Michael, Chloe, Yogi, and Benelli.

Stacy - Veterinary Technician:

Stacy joined the Old Lyme staff in March of 2008. Her interests besides the medical field include dog training/rehabilitation, animal behavior, and pet nutrition. She is certified in small animal massage therapy and is working on getting her Masters in Reiki energy healing. Her dream would be to one day open a daycare facility where many of these things can be incorporated. In her spare time, Stacy enjoys traveling, music, and hiking. She is rarely seen without her dogs: a faithful Siberian Husky, Brook, and English black lab, Buddha.

Jenn - Veterinary Technician:

Jenn rejoined our team in January of 2013. She has been in the veterinary field since 1996 and is a certified dental technician. She has been happily married to her husband, Donnie, and has a teenage son, Thomas. Jenn and her family have a farm full of four legged children, including chickens, ducks, one horse, and three dogs; Lily, Freeda and Brutus. Jenn is an avid trail rider and enjoys spending time outside on the trail with her horse Chloe. She is also an animal Reiki Master.

Terri - Certified Veterinary Technician:

Terri joined our team in March of 2012. Terri holds a B.S. in Physical Education from Springfield College and taught physical education and coached for a variety of sports teams before entering the animal health field. She has been a veterinary technician for over 10 years and has been certified since 2006. Terri shares her home with her dog (Macy Gray), two cats (Jasmine and Belle) three horses (Jawel, Mist, and Johnny).  She is passionate about the Morgan breed and has raised three Morgan foals. In addition to working here at OLVH, Terri is also a certified equine massage therapist and teaches horseback riding lessons. Her interests include exercising, art, and playing the mandolin, guitar and saxophone.

She holds a B.S. in Animal Science from UCONN and is currently pursuing an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology.  She spends her free time hiking, geocaching, and volunteering with a marine animal rescue and rehabilitation program.  She shares her home with her dog Jake and a small colony of pet rats.
