Cold Pulse Laser

Veterinary cold laser therapy (also known as low-level laser therapy or Class IV laser therapy) uses focused light to increase blood circulation and stimulate the regeneration of cells.

  • How it works:
    • The light interacts with the body's tissues, promoting photobiomodulation, which is the interaction between light and biological tissue.

  • Benefits:
    • Reduces pain.
    • Decreases inflammation.
    • Promotes healing and tissue regeneration.
    • Increases blood flow to the affected area.
    • Stimulates the release of endorphins and reduces the release of proinflammatory chemicals.
    • Activates lymphatic vessels to facilitate fluid movement out of the tissues.

  • Uses:
    • Treating inflammatory conditions.
    • Managing soft tissue injuries, tendon problems, and arthritis.
    • Encouraging wound healing.

  • Safety:
    • Cold laser therapy is considered a non-invasive, drug-free treatment option.
