An emergency is a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action. If your pet is displaying any of these symptoms call Old Lyme Veterinary Hospital immediately. (860) 434-8387
- Persistent vomiting or diarrhea
- Rapid or shallowing breathing
- Labored Breathing
- Straining to Urinate
- Prolonged or difficult labor
- Suspected poisoning or foreign material ingestion
- Seizures
- Bleeding
- Unproductive retching, dry heaving, extended abdomen
- Sudden, severe lameness
- Collapse or loss of consciousness
- Pale gums
- Trauma
